The best demo contracting company I have dealt with thus far. Called up to get some slab broken up in the basement for plumbing, Bella came the next day to give me a quote with a very competitive price and then came the day after and finished it that day. I hired Ben and his team to perform full demolition on the interior of a historic home bringing it back to the studs in preparation for a full restoration. His team took care where care was needed and worked diligently to get the job done. The fact that Ben had his own trucks for carting really made the difference given the site conditions. Why Metal Framing?

Metal framing has a number of advantages over traditional wood framing. Metal studs:

Are unaffected by humidity and moisture – they don’t warp and rot
Are insect-resistant
Are a green product, as the metal can be recycled
Are durable, and can stand up to powerful winds and other types of force
Can cost less than wood framing

We offer metal stud framing for residential, commercial, and industrial purposes. This includes framing for new builds – we use heavier gauge steel studs for load-bearing walls, and lighter gauge steel for non load-bearing walls and partitions.In our over 20 years of experience, we’ve taken on projects of all sizes from a variety of residential and commercial customers. We use high-quality materials for all of our framing work, and we offer a variety of finishes for our metal frames. Drywall & Finishes

Whether your walls are straight, curved, or at any angle, you can count on Bella Contracting to install framing and walls that are built to last.

We offer a variety of different sheetrock products to ensure that your walls meet your exact needs for soundproofing and fireproofing. Curved walls, for example, require thinner drywall than straight walls and ceilings.

Where appropriate, we may reinforce our sheetrock finishes with fire-abating materials to ensure that they meet fireproofing requirements. You can count on us to ensure that your metal frame walls and ceilings are built to last.

Insulation & Sound

You may have heard that one of the downsides of metal framing is a lack of soundproofing. That’s only true if the walls surrounding the framing aren’t properly built. By using ⅝ inch drywall and 24-inch off-centre studs, we can improve the soundproofing of any given room. If even more soundproofing is required, sound-attenuating curtain walls can be used.

You may also have heard that metal framing increases thermal transfer. Again, this is true to a certain degree, but the most important part of your building envelope isn’t the framing – it’s the insulation. We can insulate the framing using a wide variety of different insulators, and through the use of thicker drywall.
