Ben and his men replaced my hot boiler, fixed several leaks, lifted heavy objects, performed difficult home maintenance and even cleared the snow from my driveway and walkway. I met Ben at the house and walked down the demolition job to bring down a 3000 sq ft residential home. He promptly gave me a quote with a good price and after receiving the demo permit, he went to work with his guys to bring down the house and remove the debris. Barry, his heavy equipment operator is super friendly and nice. They even started the job New Year’s eve as requested so I can get my house off the tax roll. He kept me informed on what was going on and due to a massive snow storm, the job slowed down but once the snow melted, he finished up and even returned to clean up the job site as requested. Start to finish, my experience with Bella Contracting exceeded my expectations. I cannot have enough praise for Bella Contracting!! As a result of Ida on Wednesday, our basement took the brunt of the storm drain overflow on our street due to our location. After multiple phone calls to local water remediation companies and putting our names on at least 7 lists, I randomly called Bella Construction Services on Labor Day. To my surprise, Ben not only answered the phone, but he told me he could have his crew out today to take out our sheetrock! My husband and I have been working around the clock over the last few days, and we were exhausted. This was the best news ever. The crew showed up on time as promised. They were polite, neat, and it was a job well done. Ben even reached back out to make sure everything was okay. I will definitely be calling Ben when it is time to rebuild our basement. Why Metal Framing?

Metal framing has a number of advantages over traditional wood framing. Metal studs:

Are unaffected by humidity and moisture – they don’t warp and rot
Are insect-resistant
Are a green product, as the metal can be recycled
Are durable, and can stand up to powerful winds and other types of force

This includes framing for new builds – we use heavier gauge steel studs for load-bearing walls, and lighter gauge steel for non load-bearing walls and partitions.In our over 20 years of experience, we’ve taken on projects of all sizes from a variety of residential and commercial customers. We use high-quality materials for all of our framing work, and we offer a variety of finishes for our metal frames. Drywall & Finishes

Whether your walls are straight, curved, or at any angle, you can count on Bella Contracting to install framing and walls that are built to last.

We offer a variety of different sheetrock products to ensure that your walls meet your exact needs for soundproofing and fireproofing. Curved walls, for example, require thinner drywall than straight walls and ceilings.

Where appropriate, we may reinforce our sheetrock finishes with fire-abating materials to ensure that they meet fireproofing requirements. You can count on us to ensure that your metal frame walls and ceilings are built to last.

Insulation & Sound

You may have heard that one of the downsides of metal framing is a lack of soundproofing. That’s only true if the walls surrounding the framing aren’t properly built. By using ⅝ inch drywall and 24-inch off-centre studs, we can improve the soundproofing of any given room. If even more soundproofing is required, sound-attenuating curtain walls can be used.

You may also have heard that metal framing increases thermal transfer. Again, this is true to a certain degree, but the most important part of your building envelope isn’t the framing – it’s the insulation. We can insulate the framing using a wide variety of different insulators, and through the use of thicker drywall.
